THQ Nordic has been on a roll with stacking the market with a ton of AA-priced titles for the Xbox One, PC and PS4. Their latest game scheduled to take off-road gaming by storm starting this March is MX vs ATV All Out: Anniversary Edition, which will contain all of the previously released content in a single package for the moderate price of just $29.99.
The game will launch with all of the DLC packs, including Ricky Carmichael farm – GOAT, the Hometown MX Nationals content, along with the special Slash’s Snakepit!, content. There will be a total of 14 additional tracks, along with all new DLC-specific gear, Supercross features, and private compound additions that will be available when the game drops on March 12th.
The Ricky Carmichael DLC sports two new Supercross tracks, one new national track, one waypoint track, and two opencross tracks, along with multiple new trails in the freeride mode. The Snake Pit DLC sports three new Supercross tracks hailed as the “largest” to debut in MX vs ATV, along with a new FMX sandbox. Lastly, the Hometown MX Nationals content will contain four new national tracks, and two freeride environments.
You can see what the gameplay is like with the video below from windham151.
Gameplay wise, it doesn’t quite sport the kind of advanced physics that Milestone has for Monster Energy Supercross The Videogame, but it does feature a lot more sandbox-style gameplay where you can just kind of ride around. Also, while the physics might not be as realistic as Monster Energy Supercross, it does have a more casual approach to the way the bikes handle so that you can pull off some crazy stunts, from 360s to flips to whips.
I imagine if you wanted something a little less realistic and demanding than Milestone’s offerings, but just wanted to dabble into something fun and free-flowing then you might want to give it a try when MX vs ATV All Out: Anniversary Edition drops on March 12th.
