Warhammer: Chaosbane Beta Tests Start In March, Full Game Launches June 4th

Bigben Interactive and Eko Software announced that Warhammer: Chaosbane is set to receive two different beta tests throughout the spring. The first beta test is set to get underway in March, while a second beta test will take place in April. Both tests will be available for gamers who pre-ordered the game ahead of its June 4th release.

The pre-order bonuses were detailed in a new trailer for the upcoming multiplayer, hack-and-slash, action-RPG. If you pre-order the game not only do you gain access to the two beta tests, but you’ll also receive an experience bonus, and four special legendary crates.

During the first beta test, players will be able to give each of the character classes a go and play through the beginning portions of the campaign mode both in single-player and co-op mode with up to three other players.

They don’t mention exactly what will be the difference between the beta test in March and the beta test in April. What we do know is that the classes that will be available will include the human, high elf, wood elf, and dwarf. Each one has their own abilities and special skill sets that you’ll have to master in Warhammer: Chaosbane as you adventure across high-fantasy locations from the popular Games Workshop series.

Bigben and Eko are positioning Warhammer; Chaosbane as a direct hack-and-slash, ARPG rival to Blizzard’s Diablo series. I suppose we’ll find out how close to that mark they’ll get when players are able to give the game a test run during the beta test next month in March.

For more info you can visit the official website. The full game will be available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. It’s a shame that the beta test is limited to pre-orders only, as it would have been a lot better had it been an open-beta test so gamers could properly tell what works and what doesn’t for the upcoming title.
