Doom Eternal, Rage 2 Are Coming To Steam, Won’t Be Bethesda.Net Exclusives

It looks like not even the Bethesda.net launcher can hold back the man who loves to rip and tear in that he’s blasting his way on to Steam. Yes, the Doom guy will be slaying demons in Doom Eternal on PC without being exclusive to the Bethesda.net launcher.

The questions that remain unanswered as of now is, will id Software capitulate to SJWs, play it safe and sit on the fence or sock it to the whiners that got offended last time it was revealed at Quakecon 2018?

We’ll find out soon when E3 2019 rolls around, which also applies to Quakecon 2019 — an event slated to kick-off on July 25th, 2019.

Anyway, the news announcing that Steam will be graced by the man so mad that he’ll take the fight to Earth to eradicate all hell comes from Bethesda’s Twitter account stating the following:

In case you can’t read the tweet, RAGE 2, Wolfenstein: Youngblood, Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot and Doom Eternal will hit Steam when they launch, as well as the abomination that is Fallout 76 later this year — proof that the game needs more players and money to compensate its abysmal existence.

Hopefully, two weeks before Doom Eternal’s launch the Epic Games Store minds its own business and doesn’t poach the FPS game like what happened to Metro Exodus, which is a timed exclusive on the Epic Games Store and won’t hit Steam until 2020.

However, it’s worth pointing out that folks who have their hopes up high shouldn’t hold their breath on Bethesda acting decently with Doom Eternal. In other words, keep expectations reasonable.

With all of that said, folks can also look forward to Doom Eternal on other platforms such as PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Stadia. The FPS sequel to the 2016 entry has no release date yet, but I’m sure E3 2019 or Quakecon 2019 will fix that without question.
