Italian game development outfit Kunos Simulazioni and publisher 505 Games announced that Assetto Corsa Competizione will be graduating from Early Access and launching in full on Steam starting May 29th, 2019 for £34,99.
The game will come equipped with everything that it featured during the Early Access phase, along with brand new content added to flesh out the full release. This includes the full-on single-player career mode that where you’ll journey through the Blancpain GT Series hosted by Mirko Bortolotti, the 2017 Blancpain GT Series champion, where you’ll create your own racing team and complete challenges and tests while moving up the ranks to eventually compete in the championship mode and win the crown.
If you just need to test your skills and goof around with the high-end sports cars on the realistically designed tracks, you can also do so via the Free Play Mode.

Visually this game looks superb. It’s a heck of a lot more detailed and realized than Project CARS 2, which was a huge disappointment on the graphics front as Slightly Mad Studios attempted to tone down the game to squeeze the game onto the home consoles.
The lighting, the physics, and the weather effects also look pretty slick running on the Unreal Engine 4. I’m impressed. Unfortunately since the game is using licensed vehicles it means that there is no realistic damage models, so just light scoffs and dents are visible on the cars during crashes, which is a huge letdown.
Even still, there’s no argument that Assetto Corsa Competizione is a visual masterpiece as far as racing sims are concerned.
Beyond the graphics, the single-player modes, and the realistic weather, there’s also a collection of realistic tracks based on LaserScan technology using accurately detailed circuits, complete with topographical mapping.
There are also returning multiplayer modes, including casual and ranked modes, online competitions, leaderboards, and and customizable multiplayer experiences complete with matchmaking.
