CE-Asia, The Arcade Crew, and JoyMasher’s Blazing Chrome Cheats have managed to find a joyously impressed and sated community of hardcore gamers looking for a proper retro experience that hearkens back to the old Contra days. The side-scrolling, sprite-based love-letter to the olden days of gaming is currently available for Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC, but for those of you in deep need of some cheats, there are some trainers available.
The first cheat trainer offers free and premium options, which you can acquire from Megadev.info.
The Blazing Chrome Cheats contained within the trainer are listed below:
Even though some of the cheats are premium, being able to reset your lives to 1 after they nearly all run out will be useful for those of you on your last life, struggling to defeat that boss while you’re attempting to jump-dodge the attacks and fire off a salvo into his weak spot.
If Megadev’s offerings aren’t good enough for you, there’s a premium cheat trainer available from Cheat Happens.
The trainer only sports two cheat options for Blazing Chrome Cheats despite being paid:
While this might seem crappy to most people and like a complete shame, there’s actually a really important caveat to the Cheat Happens trainer, and it’s that not only is it compatible with the trainer manager but it also works with the Game Pass version of Blazing Chrome available on the Windows Store, which means that it can also alter your game if you decide to make use of Microsoft’s Play Anywhere feature.
So in some ways it’s a transferable effect that can apply to the console version of the game, if you decide to take advantage of it.
Last but not least is a free cheat table available for download over on Fearless Revolution.
The Blazing Chrome cheats are listed below:
I have to say that it seems like the best cheats are actually the ones available from the Fearless Cheat Engine.
If you find yourself having a difficult time trying to get through some of the levels in Blazing Chrome much like mainstream media has a difficult time trying to print the truth, then just grab one of the cheat trainers and have a go at it. The game features five different apocalyptic environments, local two-player co-op play, and classic sprite-based pixel art that mimics the old arcade run-and-gun shooters like Gunforce, Hard Corps, and Contra.
If you don’t already have the PC version of the game you can grab a digital copy from over on the Steam store. The only way you can get the cheats to work on the home console versions is if you either use the method mentioned above by cheating in the Windows 10 version and then copying the save over to your Xbox One or unless you have a hacked Nintendo Switch or PS4.
Either way, Blazing Chrome is available right now for home consoles and PC for $16.99.
