Polish developer Frozen District and No Gravity Games announced that Warlocks 2: God Slayers is currently available for download right now on Steam and GOG.com for PC. You can grab the side-scrolling, action-RPG with four-player co-op support for $19.99 right now. However, during the first week of release you can get it for 20% off for only $15.99.
The game follows a group of warlocks after they’ve slayed the evil that corrupted the land, only to find that the gods now pose a threat for being arrogant and unkind. So the warlocks set about on an adventure to visit the the realms and take down the giant bosses using any means necessary.
Players will have the option of choosing between five different warlocks, each with their own abilities and unique skillsets. Along the way you can also unlock new abilities and upgrade their magical powers to deal more damage or increase the warlock’s stats.
Much like Death’s Gambit or Hollow Knight, there are mammoth bosses to encounter as you travel through the various realms. You’ll need to keep your wits about you and use all of your skills to take down the boss and their minions.
You can play through the single-player solo campaign for each warlock, which will require anywhere between eight through ten hours of gameplay. Alternatively you can team up with three other friends either via online cooperative play or local online play.
It looks like it could be one of those rip-roaring games that offers up some decent playability and some fun times with friends (assuming you have any).
For $19 it doesn’t seem like a bad deal for what it offers. However, it might be best to wait for more user reviews before diving in head first.
You can pick up a digital copy of Warlocks 2 from GOG.com or from the Steam store.
