Axis Studios announced that Axis Football 2019 will be made available for PC starting September 27th, 2019 at the end of the week for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and on Steam for PC. The sports title will launch as a digital download for just $29.99.

The hook for the game is that it features an officially licensed soundtrack because they can’t get officially licensed teams. Even still, you’ll take on the role of a team owner, building out your staff of scouts, coaches, coordinators, and trainers as you attempt to make your team the best team in the league.

There’s an overhauled scouting system for recruiting new players, as well as the ability to customize your practice routines and come up with sound play-strategies to match your on-field capabilities, and an all new defensive playbook with double the amount of plays from the previous Axis Football outing.

To help flesh out the feeling of immersion, they’ve added all new stadiums to the fold, a completely redesigned drafting system with a team guide and draft summary, all new financial reports, the ability to trade draft picks, a streamlined player contract setup, and all new player and coach portraits.

As you finalize your team and work on your tactics and playbook, you’ll also have to content with team morale. It’s one thing to pick the best and train them to be the best, but once you get on the field you have to prove that you have what it takes to grab the top spot by the horns and wrestle it into submission, otherwise if you drop plays, lose games, or consistently fire staff it will affect the overall morale of the team, making it harder to create a winning formula built around the synergy of the brand.
