Ni No Kuni Remastered Edition Now Available On Steam, PS4

Bandai Namco and Level-5’s Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered is now available on Steam for PC. The game was quietly released on Valve’s platform for $49.99. There is no launch week discount, though.

QLOC was working on the port for the last couple of months, ironing out the kinks, getting it ready for that sweet 4K resolution that the PCMR can utilize, along with full mouse and keyboard support, Steam cloud saves, and trading cards. The remastered version of the game is also available on PS4.

The requirements aren’t that high, with a PC rocking an i3-2100 or AMD FX-4100 being your bare minimum to entry, 4GB of RAM and at least a GTS 450 or Radeon HD 5750 to run the game.

The remastered edition of the game bumps up the resolution and quality of the visuals. The original game already looked impressive when it first made its debut in the gaming industry back in 2010 for the PlayStation 3. It wasn’t the biggest seller on Sony’s system but the JRPG was made in collaboration with Studio Ghibli, which is why it visually managed to captivate audiences the world around.

If you didn’t pick up a digital copy of the original release of Ni No Kuni, the remastered version might be worth checking out if you enjoy dynamic, active-time battles, cel-shaded graphics, and a charming story.

Alternatively, if you’ve never played the game before and you don’t have a heavy-duty PC, you can pick up a digital copy of Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch for the very first time on the Nintendo Switch. Now keep in mind that the Switch version of the game is not the remastered version, but is just a basic port-over of the original 2010 release.

All three versions of the game are available right now on PC, PS4, and the Nintendo Switch.
