Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment are gearing up to release the new entry in the Star Wars universe best known as “Fallen Order” this year across PC and home consoles. The latest trailer to promote the forthcoming November 15th due game sees the protagonist, Cal Kestis, on a search mission to find something that the Empire doesn’t want him to retrieve.
The premise of Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order centers around a tumultuous event after order 66 is passed, and we follow the young Padawan, Kestis, as he makes his way around the galaxy to find something before the Empire finds him and this mysterious thing.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a current year game if the cast isn’t diverse such as the uncanny looking side-kick Cere — played by Debra Wilson. Speaking of Cere, in the new trailer, she looks to be the reason why Kestis has escaped from the planet he’s on (Bracca) and why he’s not bantha fodder on the side of the pavement.
Kestis will make new friends along the way, as well as coming across some familiar faces, all while being accompanied by his faithful droid BD-1.
In addition to the above, Kestis’ run from the Empire is said to be more dangerous since the “Second-Sister” is pursuing him, one of the Empire’s elite Inquisitors, who seeks to take him out.
Furthermore, the Second-Sister is accompanied by the Purge Troopers, who are special Imperial forces trained to seek out Jedi and aid the Inquisitors. In other words, Kestis is running from a lot of people.
Anyway, you can check the following video that reveals more finishing moves, a boss fight, planet picking, different foes, and more courtesy of EA Star Wars:
“In the Galactic Empire, the Inquisitorius has only one mission: seek out and destroy all remnants of the Jedi Order. Learn more about what Cal Kestis is searching the galaxy for and why the Empire will stop at nothing to bring him down.”
As of right now, you can pre-order the standard version of the game for $59.99 and the Deluxe edition for $69.99 over on ea.com. However, the game in question is slated to hit PC, PS4, and Xbox One on November 15th, 2019.
