Capcom rolled out an announcement for Monster Hunter: World detailing that the game is set to receive a huge update this November for Xbox One and PS4 in the form of Resident Evil content. Capcom is cashing in on all the crossover craze these days, and what better way to do it than with characters from their highly popular Resident Evil 2 Remake?
The announcement was made via a tweet on October 4th, 2019 on the official Monster Hunter Twitter account.
It links to a two minute trailer highlighting the new content scheduled to release in November.
Leon and Claire join the hunt in #Iceborne. Watch out though: they’re not the only ones wandering these parts… pic.twitter.com/32sAmYf5yq

Unfortunately they don’t say when the content will arrive on PC, but usually PC updates for Monster Hunter trail behind the console renditions by a sizable margin.
Nevertheless, if you’re unable to view the trailer in the tweet above, you can check out the two minute trailer featuring the characters and content below.
The trailer features Resident Evil alum Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield. The trailer starts with the two recreating their first meeting in the game, as Leon shoots a monster behind Claire.
We later see the duo inside of the tavern with a bunch of zombiefied Hunters. The trailer rounds out with a look at Mr. X, who tag-teams with Leon in the wild world of Monster Hunter’s Iceborne DLC. Some additional weapons have also been added to the game, including Tofu on a Stick. Unfortunately we don’t get to see the tofu in action, but I’m sure it’s likely going to be a comedy weapon.
As mentioned, you can look for the Resident Evil crossover DLC to appear in Monster Hunter: World – Iceborne this November for the Xbox One and PS4, followed by a release on PC at a later date.
