Red Dead Redemption 2 Spoiler-Heavy PC Launch Trailer Arrives Ahead Of November 5th Release

I’m not sure why Take-Two and Rockstar Games released a spoiler-heavy trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2, but I guess they thought it would be dandy to do so. Anyway, the video in question happens to be the official launch trailer, which arrives ahead of the game’s November 5th release date for the Epic Games Store, Rockstar Games Launcher, Stadia, Greenman Gaming, and the Humble Store.

Yes, that means folks that wish to play on Steam cannot do so anytime soon unless December seems like soon to you. In other words, when November 5th rolls around, the aforesaid storefronts will carry the game, and if you aren’t fond of them and want the game on Steam, then a month is your wait time.

Aside from different PC storefront and separate release dates, which yours truly isn’t a fan of, Take-Two and Rockstar Games have a new trailer for you to watch despite it being spoiler heavy.

Heck, even the following description for the game that’s due out in the next five days has spoilers in it. However, if you already know what’s to come in Red Dead Redemption 2’s story or you don’t care, both the description and trailer sit below for your viewing pleasure:

“Watch the official Red Dead Redemption 2 PC Launch Trailer that showcases the all new graphical and technical enhancements on display in the PC version, as Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang desperately try to outrun the law. After being hounded off the mainland, Arthur and the gang find themselves caught in a local conflict on the shores of a remote Caribbean island, disoriented and yearning to find a path back to their hidden fortune – and the dreams of a better future promised by their charming and increasingly erratic leader, Dutch van der Linde.”

The whole trailer baffles me that something so late into the game that is meant to be a “surprise” is the focal point of the launch trailer. I’m guessing the devs feel like spoilers have been floating around long enough and that people already know what’s to come?

Anywho, PC gamers will have new content to sift through at launch, given that Take-Two and Rockstar Games have conjured up new and exclusive weapons, missions, treasure maps, and more.

As noted before, Red Dead Redemption 2 will release on November 5th across the Epic Games Store, Rockstar Games Launcher, Stadia, Greenman Gaming, and the Humble Store, while Steam users will gain access to the game sometime this December.
