The anime-styled board game from Fruitbat Factory and Orange_Juice that came out way back in 2013 has been updated with a free character in celebration of having reached more than 1 million downloads over the course of six years.
The game plus the DLC have reached a combined 1 million in sales. The base game has moved well over 500,000 copies according to Steam Spy. Those numbers are likely going to skyrocket during the end of the year sale on Steam given that Fruitbat Factory has discounted the game by 75% off the normal price, so instead of costing potential customers $6.99 you can get it for just $1.74.
For those who do pick up a copy they’ll be introduced to the new character Mio The Magical Devil.
The character is full voiced by Izawa Shiori, who voices the character Nanachi frrom Made In Abyss, as well as the Assassin from Fate/Grand Order, and Kafuru from Senran Kagura. She’s also one half of the NolSol radio show with Riki Tachibana.
Once you unlock the character you’ll also unlock Shiori as an announcer voice for the game as well.
You get a taste of what Shiori sounds like as Mio with the quick trailer above, where the dainty-voiced actress lends her talents to the magical devil in the multiplayer board game.
Fruitbat and Orange_Juice also rolled out a brand new story mode for Mio to introduce her into the world of 100% Orange Juice as part of the game’s fifth anniversary on Steam.
The game is played quick and fast, where gamers roll the dice and move around the board not unlike a simplified version of Sugoro Quest from way back in the day. There aren’t many anime-style board games available in the West, but you can definitely check out 100% Orange Juice right now if something miscellaneous and casual catches your fancy.
