Nioh 2 Ice Boss And UI Tweaks Showcased During Dengeki Live-Stream

Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja are still on for a March 13th, 2020 release for Nioh 2, which means that PS4 players will be able to gain access to Nioh 2 during the first quarter of next year. I’m sure, just like the first game, this one will have a PC release later down the line, but in the meantime Dengeki Online has a stream up showing off Nioh 2’s UI changes and a boss battle.

Catching wind from website gamingbolt.com, we learn that the upcoming sequel to the 2017 action-adventure game is coming along quite well.

If you want to see what’s new, the video over on Dengeki Online’s YouTube channel starts near the latter part of the stream and ends 15 minutes later. With that said, here are time-stamps to sate your curiosity:

Not too long ago, the publisher and developer made mention that the beta survey for the forthcoming game has helped in that UI tweaks and tutorial fixes are in place as of this writing.

Aside from difficulty tweaks, alterations made to the Dark Realm, and level design refinements, it’s unclear if bigger changes are going to drop that add more variety to the character creation and other aspects for the better?

While we wait to find out if bigger changes for the better are in the works, the website relays that the Anegawa stage is now frozen due to the boss Mataka Naotora — a warrior that’s now an ice yōkai.

Sadly, that’s about all of the info one can source from the above video, but I’m sure Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja will fill folks in on the game due out in the next three months with a new trailer or demo in the coming weeks.

As noted above, you can expect this game to drop next year on March 13th across the PS4 family of consoles.
