My Hero One’s Justice 2 Release Date Set For March 13th, 2020

Bandai Namco announced that the sequel to My Hero One’s Justice is set to arrive on home consoles and PC starting next year on March 13th, 2020. The game will be available on PC via Steam, as well as digitally and physically for the Xbox One, PS4, and the Nintendo Switch.

The press release for the announcement doesn’t go into too much detail about the actual game, but they do mention that the story for My Hero One’s Justice 2 picks up where the first game ended, where All Might goes one on one against All For One.

The fight at the end of the first game concludes All Might’s story arc as the symbol of peace and hope for the world, as he turns over his power to his protege.

Gameplay has been showcased in limited capacity so far. As you can see in the trailer above it’s mostly just a quick collection of clips and snippets of some of the new characters who will be joining the roster.

It looks like stage destruction will also be returning.

In the original game you could bust through floors, bust through ceilings, break down walls, and basically completely obliterate some levels.

The fights play out in very similar fashion to the Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi games, where two players will duke it out in a 3D arena using melee combos and the special moves (called Quirks) attached to each character.

You can get a glimpse of some off-screen gameplay courtesy of GameSpot to see what the combat and battle system is like.

My Hero One’s Justice (and the sequel) mostly rely on team-based battles where you gather your party and duke it out in these arenas until a victor emerges.

As mentioned at the top of the article, you can look for My Hero One’s Justice 2 to release on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch starting March 13th, 2020.
