NIS America gets a lot of grief for a lot of the unnecessary drama they bring to the JRPG community, but every once in a while the Western branch of NIS do something swell and it ends up being to the benefit of gamers the world around. Well, today they announced that The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III is coming to the Nintendo Switch in spring of 2020, and they celebrated the news with a brand new trailer.
The news was rolled out by the NISA In Europe account from Twitter on December 3rd, 2019.

The trailer outlines the gist of the main story from The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Heroes III, as well as the way the game will look (and presumably run) on the Nintendo Switch.
The UI is fitted to the sides of the screen to give you easy access to the touchscreen controls so you can tactically roll out your offensive and defensive maneuvers on the fly. And the best part about it is that you can play both on your TV and while you’re on the duty dumper.
Starting on December 4th, 2019 NIS has plans on opening up pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch version of the game over on the official NIS Store.
Of course, I don’t have to tell you about the dangers of pre-ordering games now, do I?
Regardless, by the time the Switch version arrives hopefully all of the DLC, swimsuits, and bikini costumes will be sorted and out, and hopefully there won’t be any delays in getting the “Active Red” bikini for Juna to Switch owners.
You can currently purchase The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III for the PlayStation 4. As mentioned at the top of the article, the Switch version is due out in the spring of 2020.
