Some people enjoyed James Cameron’s Avatar while others couldn’t stand the cheap 3D blue people. No matter your thoughts on the film, Ubisoft and its crew of Massive and Lightstorm Entertainment are still working on the video game adaptation of the 2009 movie according to a new tweet.
If you happen to be unaware of this game, you can check out the much older trailer that Ubisoft released back on February 28th, 2017. Additionally, the older description explaining the game sits below:
“Today, Ubisoft announced it is partnering with Lightstorm Entertainment and Fox Interactive to create a cutting-edge new game for PC and consoles set on Pandora, the beautiful and dangerous moon from James Cameron’s Avatar film franchise. Massive Entertainment, a Ubisoft studio, is leading the game’s development.”
Now that you are up to speed, not too long ago, Cameron’s crew shared a sneak peek of what’s going on behind the scenes on Avatar 2. The official Twitter account had this to say and show:
That’s a wrap, Na’vi Nation!
It’s our last day of live-action filming in 2019, and we’re celebrating with a sneak peek.

According to gamingbolt.com, the website reports Ubisoft saying not to expect the game before April 1st, 2020. This means the game isn’t going to release anytime soon.
What we do know so far is that the same people behind The Division is developing this game. Also, the same engine that’s powering The Division, Snowdrop, will power the forthcoming title for PC and home consoles.
With all of that said, what do you think of this Avatar game?
