The Idolmaster: Starlit Season Announced For PC And PS4

If you are looking to be over your very own idol unit filled with waifus that have a special place in your heart, then it looks like Bandai Namco has something special just for you. Not too long ago the company announced on its 876TV channel that a new Idolmaster game was in the works and it was headed for PC via Steam and PS4.

Right now, The Idolmaster: Starlit Season doesn’t have a Western release date yet and is currently planned to launch in Japan sometime later this year. Nevertheless, this doesn’t stop tidbits from popping up for your viewing pleasure.

According to Gematsu, this game sees “Starlit Season” in action, which is an idol unit competition. The unit that wins has the opportunity to become the first idols to perform at the newly opened Starlit Dome.

However, you can help an idol unit by assuming the role of a producer of the talent agency 765 Production. Additionally, the story sees you returning to the 765 Production office and greeted by the CEO, Junjirou Takagi, to assemble a new idol unit of members comprising from different agencies to compete in Starlit Season.

Takagi has called several agencies and from here, you are tasked by the CEO to produce a “four-brand special unit.”

Here are some of the girls that will be in The Idolmaster: Starlit Season:
