Fight Of Animals Coming Soon To Nintendo Switch

There’s probably a lot of sweaty palms inside the paws of the fursonas reading this news, but try to keep your “Eeeee”s to a bare minimum because Digital Crafter has announced that Fight of Animals is coming soon to the Nintendo Switch.

The disturbingly engrossing fighting game involving anthropomorphic animals duking it out on the grand stage has secured a release on Nintendo’s little hybrid that could, but we don’t have a solid release date just yet. However, they did reveal that the Switch version of the game will support online multiplayer for those who have a premium Nintendo Network account.

The announcement comes alongside the reveal of two new playable characters for the PC version of the game, Bad Dog and Tricky Fox.

Both are boss characters, but one has to be unlocked by beating the game on a certain difficulty, while the other is unlocked by beating the game on any difficulty.

They’re the two latest additions to an already stacked roster of mentally scarring depictions of cuddly animals turned into muscle-bound pugilists.

Truly a furry’s delight.

The game is also scheduled to receive even more playable animals, further expanding the roster to meet the whims of animal lovers the world around.

So far the dueling animal game has yet to court the kind of controversy that rocked Fight of Gods, so the developers are probably happy about that. If you weren’t familiar with that scenario, basically the Malaysian government thought that the game was blasphemous, and so they originally were going to ban access to Steam in the region, but settled for Steam blocking the game in their region.

I don’t know if all the press Fight of Gods received compensated for losing sales in Malaysia, but right now they haven’t had to deal with those sort of roadblocks with Fight of Animals.

The game is currently available for purchase over on the Steam store for just $5.99.
