Reports have surfaced that the all-female League of Legends team from Russia, Vaevictis Esports, will no longer be part of the Russian League of Legends Continental League for the start of the season.
Loadout is reporting that there was an announcement from Riot Games Russia over on the LoLEsports.com website making it known that the team would no longer be part of the league after suffering from constant consecutive losses and averaging 27 deaths per game.
Vaevictis Esports will be replaced by Team CrowCrowd for the start of the season, which is set to get underway on February 22nd, 2020.
The news even managed to catch the attention of Mr. Obvious, who pointed out that Reddit moderators were quick to lock threads pointing out the I.Q., differences between men and women and objectively explaining why genetics favor men in e-sports the same way it does in other physical sports.
Essentially Vaevictis Esports never really had a chance of making it big playing against some of the best male teams in the Russian league.
According to Dot Esports, the team only lasted in the LCL from February 10th, 2019 to February February 10th, 2020.
As noted in the article, the all-female team didn’t win a single game throughout the entire 2019 season. There’s a hilarious highlights video from their 2019 run courtesy of Kapitan Janusz, which gives you an idea of just how good (i.e., bad) they really were.
They’re not barred from the League of Legends Continental League, as Riot has explained that they can still make the league if they can manage to compete in and win the Open Cup this year.
The only other notable thing the team managed to achieve was getting Riot Games to white-knight for them by chastising other teams for “discriminating” against them during tournament play by dragging out the matches, and using off-meta characters to show just how pathetic they were.
The only time “women” can compete well against men is when other men put on wigs and lipstick.
