Bubble Bobble 4 Friends Releases March 31st, 2020 For Nintendo Switch

Taito Corporation and ININ Games announced that Bubble Booble 4 will be making an exclusive debut on the Nintendo Switch at the end of the month. The game will feature tons of levels for players to solve as the cute little dinos, Bub and Bob.

The game features 100 different levels to play through, as Bub and Bob take on Bonner and his henchmen. The game also sports cooperative multiplayer for up to four players, so you and three other buddies can have it in the game.

You can get a glimpse of what the gameplay is like with the Bubble Bobble 4 Friends trailer below.

The game is unlike some of the other previous Puzzle Bobble outings that were match-3 puzzle games, typically played with two players. This time around the game is more like a Kirby-inspired platformer, with various levels designed like mini-games.

In addition to the standard edition, which will release on March 31st, there’s also a limited collector’s edition that will drop courtesy of Strictly Limited.

It carries a hefty $96.86 price tag, but comes with the full version of Bubble Bobble 4 Friends, along with a specially made collector’s box, a soundtrack on CD and a booklet, along with stickers, a hardcover book, an arcade flyer, and an instruction card. The game also comes packed in a retro PCB package.

It’s not a bad price for everything you get bundled in, and it’s especially enticing for gamers who enjoy collecting their games physically instead of relying on stockpiling titles in their digital library.

Bubble Bobble definitely seems like the kind of game worth picking up if you’re into casual multiplayer titles or enjoy games you can play in small spurts during downtime.

If you were interested in getting your hands on the limited edition, you can do so by visiting the official Strictly Limited website.
