Dog Trainer Lets You Breed And Train Dogs

When Nintendo introduced Nintendogs way back in the day it became a hit phenomenon with a bunch of casuals who liked playing around with cute puppies on their DS. It sold like crazy thanks to its compact portability and, at the time, decent visuals. Well, Moonlit S.A., and Frozen District are going to attempt to target the same level of success with their pet simulator called Dog Trainer.

You have the option of choosing the breed of your dog, its gender (there are only two, as it should be), and all the other various characteristics that will make your personal dog the pet of your dreams.

One of the neat aspects of the game is that different breeds behave differently, and some will be more or less active than others.

This is where the training aspect comes into play, as you’ll have to domestic your dog using a variety of different training techniques.

The more fervent you are in teaching and training your puppy, the better they’ll behave when they get older.

The training isn’t just there as the peak gameplay loop, though. You’ll help your dog not only improve your little doggy, but it can also help with performance acts during dog shows.

Yes, if you play your cards right and train your dog straight, you’ll be able to enter into the shows and attempt to nab the first place trophy.

You can also enter your pup into beauty pageants if you think you’ve groomed them well enough.

For those of you who care more about appearances than performances, you can also settle for simply outfitting your dog with different gear, accessories, and even clothing items.

There’s no release date set in stone just yet for Dog Trainer, but you can keep an eye on it or add it to your wishlist by visiting the Steam store page.
