Here’s How To Make Quick Money In Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is out now for the Nintendo Switch, and it looks like there are multiple ways to get rich quick. If you are here to find out how to make extra money or bells in this game, then you have found the right place.

Method #1

Without wasting any time, the first method revolves around making a noticeable amount of Leaf Umbrellas and selling them to Timmy. To make these Leaf Umbrellas search your island for weeds and head to Tom Nook’s workbench to make said items.

Method #2

The second method sees you making a (flimsy) shovel, which can be obtained by catching five bugs or fish. Donate those animals to Tom Nook, and this will open up access to Blathers. After setting up a tent and waiting a day, Blathers will give you the recipe to make said shovel blueprint.

From here, collect two Dark Wood pieces and you should be able to craft the shovel from the blueprint.

Next, track down every rock and dig an L-shaped pattern around a given rock that might be the Bell or Money Rock. Sit between the Money Rock and the holes that you have dug and rapidly press the “A Button” to get the maximum amount of money from the rock.

One Money Rock will spawn per day. However, AbdallahSmash026 has a video on this method that allows you to further abuse a Money Rock by saving your game, quitting, changes your Switch Date and Time by a day in the settings option, and then going back in to rinse and repeat the process:

Method #3

The last method is growing Money Trees. To do this, you will need to search your plot of land and find a glowing light. Take the money out of the hole and plant the maximum amount of money in the hole. Wait some days (or you can change the Date and Time in the Switch’s settings), and you should be able to get more money.
