Smee and NekoNyan’s Making*Lovers is scheduled to release on PC starting April 3rd, 2020. The game is just a week out from release, where it’s scheduled to drop on NekoNyan’s shop, Jast USA, Nutaku, MangaGamer, Denpasoft and the Steam store.
The game is a wholesome romance tale about what it means to be in love after you make the leap into a relationship. Most romance and dating sims are themed around the butterflies-in-the-stomach moments you receive when you meet that special someone, and the sometimes awkward and exciting interactions you have that builds on the connections and synergies you share with someone that blossoms into an actual relationship.
With Making*Lovers, it’s about what happens after all the starting trials of establishing the relationship begins, and you get to see how everything unfolds with five different heroines, ranging from going on dates and learning more about personality crashes, to moving in together. You can get a glimpse of what the five heroines are like with the trailer below.
Smee’s title is designed around traditional relationship goals, and wholesome romance building with cute anime girls.
It’s not like those Western titles where they force you into choosing between a hair-legged Liberal with tattoo sleeves and daddy issues, or an insufferable cat lady with a trophy wall full of used condoms.
Making*Lovers offers multiple routes with different outcomes based on the choices you make throughout the game.
It will be available starting April 3rd for $29.99. According to the official website it will be discounted during the first week for 10% off the normal price.
You can currently wishlist it on the Steam store, but if you would prefer to support a more honest distributor, be sure to wait for the game to launch on one of other VN storefronts.
