Train Station Renovation Set To Release Q2 2020 On Steam

Live Motion Games’ Train Station Renovation is finally prepping for release on Steam at some point in the second quarter during the summer. Originally it was set to release during the first quarter, as mentioned on the Steam store page, but the developers sent out a press release indicating that the game has been moved into a Q2 2020 release.

The game is played as a first-person renovation title. It starts with an old, run down, dilapidated train station from the 1970s that requires a lot of tender, love and work.

You’ll make use of various cleaning and repair tools in order to fix up and restore the old station before moving on to bigger and better renovation projects.

You can get a glimpse of what the gameplay is like with the original trailer below.

As showcased in the video, you’ll need to clean up the buildings, remove graffiti, restore the broken or damaged parts, replace the windows, clean up the seats, remove the debris and trash, sand and buff the tracks, and get rid of all the junk.

Once the station is fixed up and the train is put back into working order, you can then fire up the engine and give it a go.

So it’s not all work and no play.

I’m not sure what exactly happened that caused such a lengthy delay from the two years since it was announced, but it looks like PlayWay and Live Motion Games have finally got a handle on things and are putting the game’s release into motion.

They also recently released a new developer log covering logos and colors.

They’re keeping the community up-to-date on what they’re working on and how far along they are, but they still haven’t ironed out an exact release date just yet.

You can wishlist Train Station Renovation right now from over on the Steam store page or keep an eye out for when the game finally releases.
