Trials of Mana is one of the many games releasing under Square Enix this year, and if your interest is piqued by the upcoming JRPG due out for PC, PS4, and Switch, know that a new trailer is out showing what’s currently in-store for gamers and fans alike.
Square Enix has a new “longform trailer” out, but it’s not just any trailer, it’s one for the April-due JRPG. If you want to see what’s set to go down late next month, you can see Kevin, Hawkeye, Riesz, Duran, Angela, and Charlotte on their adventure while the arranged version of Nuclear Fusion plays:
“The new Longform Trailer is a deep dive into some of the amazing features you will experience in the game.
Watch how you can create a varying adventure depending on the selection in your party of three, choosing from the six unique heroes.
Get a glimpse into the combat system and find out how upgrading the characters’ classes transforms them into powerful new forms. See some of the new abilities in action plus discover a vast world ready to explore filled with secrets and mysteries.”
As seen above, players will be able to take advantage of “Chain Abilities,” which is a system that allows members of the team to share an effect between party members.
The trailer also shows off some of the classes that players can change to when they reach certain levels, as well as the training system that grants leveling characters the ability to distribute “training points” in Stamina, Intelligence, Spirit, Strength, and Luck.
Also, there will be 300+ abilities available to unlock where some of the different abilities will be affected by the day and night cycle.
The good news is that a demo is in the works. There’s no telling when it will drop, but seeing that gamstat.com leaked Final Fantasy VII Remake demo and it is out now for PS4 players, I’m sure Trials of Mana demo isn’t too far away.
Square Enix is still scheduled to release Trials of Mana for PC via Steam, PS4, and Switch on April 24th, 2020.
