TT Isle Of Man 2 Trailers Detail Career Mode, Free Roam, Customization

Kylotonn Racing Games and Nacon released a new trailer for TT Isle of Man 2‘s highly anticipated career mode. The trailer isn’t very long, but it gives you a brief look at how you can take on challenges on the calendar, build up the performance of your bike through upgrades, and eventually qualify to race on the Isle of Man.

The press release goes into a bit more depth about the career mode, explaining that players take on the role of fictional rider James Wilson, who will start off with a simple bike and work his way up through 18 different tracks across the season until he has the perfect team, the perfect road machine, and the right setup to finally make it to the Isle of Man.

The track is portrayed in the trailer as a sort of boss fight that players will have to spend the entire career mode working their way up to in order to earn a shot at becoming a legend. It’s a well done trailer that keeps it short and simple while explaining the rules of the career mode.

I was wondering how they were going to build an entire game around a single race, but they really don’t. Instead they build the game around the process to make it to that race.

There’s a step-by-step challenge in overcoming the odds and ends with finances, team management, and trying to land the right sponsors in the superbike and supersports bike categories in order to find the perfect ride to challenge the greats in the two-wheeled motorsports category.

To help with getting gamers’ feet wet with the mechanics, Kylotonn offers a free roam playground mode where you can test out different bike settings, learn the turns, the curves, the twists, the ins, and the outs of each bike, as well as take on time attacks and more.

You can get an idea of what the free roam mode is like with the trailer below.

The game is looking mighty fine from where I’m sitting.

Hopefully the actual gameplay is as tight as it looks in the trailers. If so, Kylotonn could be giving Milestone a real run for their money in the motorbike racing genre.

You can look for TT Isle of Man 2 to land on the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch starting March 19th.
