911 Operator Deluxe Edition Heads To Nintendo Switch May 1st

SonkaGames and Games Operators announced that the emergency strategy game, 911 Operator Deluxe Edition, will be heading to the Nintendo Switch at the start of May next month as a digital download from the Nintendo eShop for $21.99.

The game sees you in charge of an operator dispatch facility where you’ll need to coordinate and send out emergency units to help stop crimes, solve crimes, and deal with various hazards.

The strategy game sees players needing to respond quickly and efficiently to calls, some of which will center around burglaries, others around shootouts, and some dealing with shooting victims. In some cases you’ll have to help coordinate search and rescue efforts, or help police secure an active crime in progress. You can check out the trailer below to get an idea of what the gameplay is like.

Most of the game is played from a top down map of the city, as you get to see where the units are located, where the crimes are happening, and what emergencies you need to prioritize first.

The deluxe edition of the game comes with the four previously released DLC packs for 991 Operator, which includes the Every Life Matters DLC (something that the BLM supporters and Liberals will surely throw a hissy fit about), the Special Resources expansion, the Search & Rescue missions, and the First Response package.

If you’re into resource management games where you’re working against the clock, having to make split second decisions, as well as undertake costly measures to keep the first-responders equipped and tooled up, then you might like 911 Operator.

It’s a little too simplified for my tastes, but you can look to get your hands on the game for the Nintendo Switch starting May 1st. For moire information you can visit the official Soka Games website, or you can bookmark the Nintendo eShop page.
