Inti Creates announced that ArtPlay’s Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2 and Azure Striker Gunvolt 3 are headed to home consoles and PC… soon.
Koji Igarashi made the announcement about Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2 back on June 23rd, 2020 with a brief introduction and a quick look at some in-game play from the 8-bit inspired 2D platformer.
You can check out the trailer below.
The single-player game puts you in control of up to four playable characters, each with their own unique abilities and powers, including Zangetsu, who became popularized from his appearance in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night as the badass swordsman who came to Miriam’s aid throughout her journey. There’s also the smoking hot nun, Dominique, who has a body to die for. Robert the marskman. And a little corgi in a mech suit.
You can choose to switch between all four characters to make use of their abilities in order to progress through the levels.
It’s unfortunate that it’s not quite on 16-bit levels of quality, but if you’re into NES-style Metroidvania titles then it’ll probably meet your standards. The game is set for release on Steam for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch.
Inti Creates also announced that Azure Striker Gunvolt 3 is on its way likely for home consoles and PC.
The game is currently in development and features three playable characters, each with their own unique abilities. The newest playable character is pure waifu-material, donning a sword that can deflect enemy projectiles, which will give skill-based gamers a lot to master once the game becomes available.
We’re at a point where you can never expect to play as a hot waifu in a Western-made game unless it was a low-budget indie title.
They didn’t roll out a release date or the platforms that the game will release on, but those details will arrive once the game’s development begins to wrap up.
