Focus Home Interactive seems to be one of the last publishers on the face of the planet who hasn’t kowtowed to the the menace that is the Intersectional Inquisition. While their peers and cohorts have filled out the ever-growing Traitors of America list, Focus Home decided to focus on what made them popular in the first place: video games.
With developer Rogue Factor at the helm, Necromunda: Underhive Wars is gearing up for a release this summer on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, and it’s a turn-based strategy game where you take control of one of the many gangs in the hive cities of Necromunda, and attempt to loot what you can from the polluted and dank corridors, and fight for survival against other houses intent on capitalizing on their greed and lust for power.
The latest cinematic trailer for the game outlines what you can expect from each group, and the violence that will ensue as they encounter one another while fighting for scraps and inklings of prestige.
The cinematic trailer does exactly what it describes, outlining the harsh and unrelenting world of the Underhive.
Unfortunately we don’t get to see any of the actual gameplay, though, and that’s somewhat disappointing given that if the game is due out this summer it would seem like maybe there should be a focus on how the game actually plays?
That’s just my two cents.
Pre-orders are currently live for the game over on the Steam store page, but it will also launch on home consoles, too. But keep in mind, both Sony and Microsoft came out in support of the organizations that are funding the terrorism ripping at the heart of America. So be sure to stay alert as to whether or not you want to support companies who stand behind the kind of groups that have been associated with rioting, looting, and vandalizing YOUR neighborhood.
