Bandai Namco and Slightly Mad Studios have announced Project Cars 3. The upcoming third installment in the ongoing series of games will release sometime this summer for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Keep in mind that Bandai Namco has been added to the Traitors of America Master List.
Whether or not you are a fan of Slightly Mad Studios and the team’s decisions throughout Project Cars 2’s lifecycle, know that a third game will be coming out quite soon.
It’s unclear if this game will be riddled with bugs and other issues, but what is for certain is that gamers and fans will be able to upgrade and customize hundreds of cars in the forthcoming installment.
You can get a glimpse of racing, some of the tracks, cars, and customization by checking out the following video that clocks in at one minute and 43 seconds:
“Get ready for Your Ultimate Driver Journey. Own, upgrade and customize hundreds of elite-brand road and race cars. Personalize your racing hero persona. And then race your way up from weekend warrior to racing legend in stunning global locations. Project CARS 3. Summer 2020. PS4, Xbox One, PC.”
Career Mode has been changed to give players “a better sense of progression.” During the Career Mode, folks will be able to progress through ten car classes (while earning XP) to unlock upgrades and other stuff like new events.
Multiplayer or online play will be in the third game backed by three modes. Folks can choose from Quick Play, Scheduled Events, and Custom Lobby.
No word on whether or not this game will surface on PS5 and Xbox Series X has surfaced yet, but I’m sure we’ll find out moving toward the end of this year. And speaking of platform uncertainty, Bandai Namco or Slightly Mad Studios haven’t released word on if Project Cars 3 will appear on Steam or the Epic Games Store.
In the meantime, the third game in the series will launch for PC and home console this summer.
