Dustoff Z Has You Rescuing Survivors In Custom Helicopters During A Zombie Apocalypse

There’s a new game in the works being developed by Invictus Games and published by Zordix called Dustoff Z. Now before you sigh and sign off from paying any mind to this game, take note that it’s not yet another typical zombie survival game… even though it is a zombie survival game.

The game puts you in charge of a rescue group who must fly into the thick of a zombie outbreak using a variety of helicopters in order to bring the survivors to safety.

The concept of the game is actually pretty neat. You’ll have to cautiously avoid the zombie hordes while maneuvering your helicopter down to pick up civilians.

You can get a glimpse of what the game is like with the trailer below.

As you can see, it’s not just about rescuing civilians, it’s also about helping secure the landing zone using physics-based props to clear the area of zombies.

You can use your various aerial contraptions to lift people, objects, and even other vehicles to smash, roll over, and blow up enemies.

It’s as much about maneuvering into position for the save as it is the action surrounding the rescue.

To help make things easier on players being swarmed by zombies, it’s also possible to hire gunners to snipe and clear out surrounding zombies at the landing zone. Alternatively you can play multiplayer with another player and have them man the turret in the helicopter (or whatever flying vehicle you’re using) to attack the enemies and bosses.

Dustoff Z looks like a fairly fun game and I actually really like the concept. This game is due out this fall for the Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS4, and on Steam for PC. For more info feel free to visit the official website.
