Synergia, Cyberpunk Visual Novel Release Date Moved Up To July 27th

Top Hat Studios and Radi Art recently announced that the upcoming cyberpunk visual novel, Synergia, has had its release date moved up by a whole day, from July 28th to July 27th. There’s currently a free demo available over on the Steam store page if you wanted to check it out ahead of release.

The news about the new release date was made via a post on July 25th, 2020, where the developer explained…

“Just a quick drop in to say we will be releasing Synergia on the 27th, a day earlier than expected! We are happy to be able to get the game finally into the hands of everyone who has been waiting so long. The game will be releasing at 11AM EST/4PM BST/8AM PST. The official soundtrack will also be launching alongside the game! The game will have a 10% discount which will run for the first week of its release.”

I’m definitely curious to hear what the soundtrack will be like.

Games like this typically have killer vibes in the music department as they tap into that synthetic chillwave sub-genre.

In addition to announcing a new release date for Synergia, they also rolled out a couple of new screenshots from the visual novel to give you an idea of what the art-style is like.

There’s definitely a lot of strong influences from Ghost In The Shell, Alita and Angel Cop.

The game features more than 100 CG sequences, more than 20 characters to encounter, and multiple choices sprinkled throughout the visual novel experience that will shape one of the many endings you can unlock.

Top Hat seems to be picking the right kind of games to publish these days, with the other cyberpunk fanfare being Suazku’s Sense: A Cyberpunk Ghost Story, which is due for release in August.

You can wishlist or follow Synergia right now or look for it to release on July 27th via the Steam store.
