We managed to catch wind of some neat news from Gematsu about Marvelous updating its official Japanese website for Fate/Extella. The new update reveals more information regarding the PS4 and PS Vita game Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star with a batch of new screenshots. These images showcase more of the game, which is followed by a teaser for “Servant Festa Summer” campaign.
Set to hit the PS4 and PS Vita on November 10th in Japan, and sometime during the Winter of this year for the west, Marvelous updated the game’s official site to show off some new screenshots, which comes after the Japanese version of the E3 trailer teasing a “Servant Festa Summer” campaign. You can catch the English version below thanks to XSEED.
For those that don’t know about the game, it takes on the musou style of dispatching hundreds of enemies with stylized attacks across eccentric battlefields. Adding on to this, we now have a list of screenshots to look over that will hold folks over until the new campaign is detailed in the “coming days.”
Furthermore, this information arrives after XSEED shared information during E3, which accompanied Marvelous who detailed the sub-story. The sub-story will be from the independent perspectives of three heroine Servants — Nero Claudius, Tamamo No Mae, and Attila — and will be augmented by the different side stories of other Servants that help fill in the main story.
With that said, the new screenshots showing over a dozen of images can be viewed below.
I’m not officially sure as to when the devs will drop the information pertaining to the Servant Fest Summer campaign, but it is noted to be unveiled sometime soon.
If you can’t wait for Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star, you can get more info by hitting up the official Japanese site, which just received an update. The game is slated to come out for both PS4 and PS Vita over in Japan on November 10th, and sometime this Winter for the west.
