Koei Tecmo Releases Four New Attack On Titan Videos Detailing The Game

That’s right, Koei Tecmo has published a batch of videos showing off Omega Force’s Attack on Titan: Wings of Freedom. The game is already out over in Japan, which released back on February 18th, for PS Vita, PS3 and PS4. A western release will soon arrive sometime in late August and will bring with it an Xbox One and PC version in addition to launching on PlayStation consoles.

Jumping right into the heart of the new information dropped by the devs, folks will find that there will be a “fast paced” mode called Scout, enabling players to recruit up to three companions online to venture outside the wall and face the ever-so-dangerous Titans. Stationed at the camp, players will be able to upgrade their gear, change their costumes and prep themselves for battle. These stages will differ from the main campaign mode, and will provide the following locations: The Forest of Giant Trees, the Ruined Town, a Farm Village, and the Stohess District.

The devs also published four videos, three of which reveal and show Erwin, Hange and Levi shredding through Titans. The forth video highlights the Decisive Battle Signal that allows rescuing regiment members in danger and slaying Titans to help fill up the Decisive Battle meter quicker. This will also momentarily stop blunting of blades and depletion of gas from the Omni-Directional Maneuver Gear.

You can check out the first three character videos that were recently published on Koei Tecmo‘s channel.

The next video shows off the Decisive Battle Signal and a lot of Titans eating people throughout. You can watch the video below.

Lastly, the weapons can be upgraded and can degrade during battles. This will affect your chances of killing Titans in a streamlined manner or a lot slower, which blunt blades will take longer while sharpened blades will do the job much cleaner.

The game is currently out in Japan and is for PS Vita, PS3 and PS4. A western release is set to arrive sometime late August and will bring with it an Xbox One and PC version of AOT: Wings of Freedom.
