Those of you who are rocking a PS4 will soon be able to get their hands on 505 Games and Three One Zero’s latest project Adr1ft. The space adventure survival game is already out for PC through Steam, which holds a user review and recent review of Mixed. The publisher plans on bringing the game to PS4 on July 15th.
To be honest, I was never into Adr1ft. However, I was and still am impressed with how the game looks visually, but aside from that I never really cared about the project. If you aren’t like me and show interest in the space survival game and you are on PS4, you will be able to play the game next week.
For those on PC — who currently reflect a mixed feeling about the game — already have access to the game since it launched back on March 28th. If you are new and wonder what the game has to offer, you can read the official description below.
“ADR1FT is the story of an astronaut who wakes up floating silently in space amongst the debris of destroyed space station…the only survivor of a catastrophic event, left with no memory, a critically damaged EVA suit leaking oxygen and no way home.”
In addition to the description and what the game has to offer, Adr1ft takes on the first-person experience of floating around in a destroyed spaceship, while telling a story of an astronaut in peril. This leaves players stuck with a damaged EVA suit that’s slowly leaking Oxygen having players to search for upgrades and oxygen floating about in the space wreckage. Along the way, resources must be gathered so that you can repair the damaged extreme environment suit and get back home.
If you want to get a better look at the game, 505 Games released a new video showing an accolade (which I’m not fond of), showing segments of in-game footage.
The publisher plans on bringing the game to PS4 on July 15th. If you want to play the game on PC, Adr1ft runs for $19.99 and is available on Steam, although it currently holds both a user and current review of Mixed. For more information you can head on over to the devs main site.
