Prospero 15c Horror Survival Game Seeks Votes On Greenlight

A very interesting one man project showed up on Steam Greenlight under the moniker of Prospero 15c today. The horror survival game is set on a mysterious alien planet, which has players exploring the planet’s wonders. Prospero 15c comes in by David Hyman (or 95d Studios), and seeks votes on Greenlight.

After watching the trailer for Prospero 15c, I started getting some vibes from Stanislaw Lem and his work. In case you don’t know who he is, Lem’s work spans across projects like The CYBERAID, and the 1961 book Solaris, which was later translated into a movie back in 2002.

In addition to the above, some of the scenes depicted in Prospero 15c‘s trailer reveals large bug-like creatures and uncanny environments. This has me kinda excited to see more.

Furthermore, when checking out some of the concepts for this game, it looks like guns and spaceships will be in the indie project, which I’m sure adds to the survival aspect. You can check out an in-game model of a space craft, as seen below.

The concept for the ship can be seen below, which comes in by David Hyman.

One gripe that I do have with the game, which veers more to the description for 15c, is that it doesn’t really offer up that much information to players as to what the game is about.

I really do enjoy the setting of the game and how the graphics look (especially to be a one man indie game), but the trailer also rides the vague train too and doesn’t really reveal anything that packs a punch.

Additionally, I really do like Sci-Fi type games like 15c, especially the concept and renderings for the game like the header image with our protagonist holding a gun pointed at some space man. But, maybe in the future the dev will release some more potent videos and descriptions to better clarify the world of Prospero 15c.

Anyways, the official Greenlight trailer that comes in by Davidhymandesign‘s YouTube channel is now up — although it acts more like walking clips pasted together — you can check it out below.
