Do you like racing in circles? Do you also like going really fast around circles? If so, NASCAR Heat Evolution will let you do both with 40 players online. Set to come out September 13th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC, Monster Games and Dusenberry Martin Racing took to the PlayStation.blog to detail the upcoming NASCAR game and its features.
I’ve had my fair share with some NASCAR games, and some I enjoyed more than others, but all-in-all, I’m really hard up for some good motorcycle games. I know the two are very different, but I still enjoy racing games in general.
Anyway, NASCAR brings those beautiful hair-pin turns, U-turns and the always-fun to go through chicanes to the motorsports table. These elements always define a good racer when playing through any track, because one little mess up through those turns and it could change everything during a race.
This now brings us to the devs working on Heat Evolution, who recently took to the PlayStation.blog to drop some information and screenshots revealing the game. You can read what they had to say below:
“Hey, PlayStation drivers! NASCAR Heat Evolution began with a mission: deliver the most intense NASCAR racing experience. Working alongside Monster Games, known for developing classic NASCAR games like the original NASCAR Heat and NASCAR: Dirt to Daytona, we pushed ourselves to find innovative ways to make our racing vision a reality.”
In addition to the above, the team seeks to add “extensive” tuning options, adaptive AI and an “in-depth” career and championship modes to help enhance chasing the NASCAR Sprint Cup. Other features like fully modeled cockpits (although that should be a standard in racing games), and lobby and host settings will also make an appearance in this game.
Most importantly, we also have new screenshots to look at now, which show a decent amount of wheels on the black tops, as seen below.
Although the game doesn’t look all that great to me, if it seems interesting to you, more information can be found over on the PlayStation.blog. NASCAR Heat Evolution is set to come out for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on September 13th.
