Allians Trading Card Game Lets You Become A Playable Card

So imagine you’re trading cards, laying down a mean offensive bonus combo with an extra buffered attack from a magic boost, and the next card you roll out has your face on it because you’re that freaking awesome? Well, the game Allians is attempting to bring that very scenario to life by allowing gamers to become the cards that they play.

The game Allians will supposedly let you trade, battle and evolve your stack as you build an all-powerful deck that may even include you, your friends and possibly even your family.

They explain what the trading card game is all about in the promotional video below.

Originally I thought this was going to be one of those typical mobile card apps, but the fact that they can take your Steam achievements and profile attributes and use them to design a card around your character seems kind of cool.

If you’re into card games this might be something that catches your fancy. The early promotion of Allians is designed to help give gamers the heads-up about the forthcoming Kickstarter program that they will get underway on August 23rd.

To further help tempt gamers into getting behind the idea, they have a card generation tool up and live right now over on the Your Card sub-section, which lets you import your Steam profile and begin to customize and create your very own trading card for the game. You can pick your profile, pick your image and then choose your faction.

With Kickstarter waning so much this past year given so many of the scams and failed projects that didn’t live up to the hype, it’s tough to gauge how well something like ,i>Allians from newcomer Claimony would do on the crowd-funding platform. A lot of it will depend on how well gamers take to the card creation process and whether or not they get some solid media exposure.

In the meantime you can check out Allians and learn more about it if it’s something that strikes your fancy by visiting the official website.
