Cornfox And Bros. Details Oceanhorn 2: Knights Of The Lost Realm In New Blog Post

Best known for their smartphone or mobile game Oceanhorn: Monsters of Uncharted Seas, developer Cornfox and Bros. recently announced their latest project will be Oceanhorn 2: Knights Of The Lost Realm. At the moment the game does not sport a designated platform, or release date, but the devs over the game did take to a blog post to detail features for the second Oceanhorn game.

Fans of the first Oceanhorn should know that the game was an obvious copy of the popular Legend of Zelda series, which is evident in a lot of the content sprawled throughout the game. However, the devs announced on oceanhorn.blogspot.com that the Legend of Zelda-like game will receive a second iteration.

I should note that Oceanhorn 2: Knights Of The Lost Realm is set in the same universe as the first game but will not sport the same protagonist. The game has a new hero, who’s a boy that is trained to become a Knight of Arcadia.

We also learn from the small team of five over at Cornfox & Bros. that the game will be a third-person action-adventure RPG. Content like exploration and utilizing different abilities is said to be very prominent as noted below:

“The game is played from a third person camera angle that will take players right into the heat of action and allows them to explore even the smallest details of Arcadia. Our battle system consists of sword fighting, utilizing powerful spells and finding creative ways to use various items that Hero discovers on his travels.”

A key feature that is said to be useful in Knights Of The Lost Realm is the Caster. You can check out an image of the Caster below.

The devs also provided a brief description of this plasma shooting small arms tool, or the Caster, as noted below:

“One of the key items in the game is the Caster, a gun that shoots magical projectiles! It will have many uses on the player’s adventure, from puzzle solving to luring enemies and casting directed spells.”

The game will also feature a lot of traveling, which consist of forests, towns, mountains, water areas and many other places. The game will also sport a hub that stands as a place selector to complete dungeons and take up quests, which is like in any other games’ world map.

As of now, many folks following Knights Of The Lost Realm thinks that the devs will make the game for mobile devices, although the devs did not confirm what the second Oceanhorn will be for.
