Weekly Famitsu Reveals Wyald As A Playable Character In Berserk

Looking over a new post that the Weekly Famitsu published, the brutish Black Dog Knights leader, Wyald, has been revealed to be playable in Koei Tecmo and Omega Force’s upcoming Berserk game. Berserk is set to be playable on PS3, PS4 and PS Vita over in Japan on October 27th, and for PS4, PS Vita and PC via Steam for the West.

According to the new post over on Famitsu, which reveals two new images of Berserk, the Black Dog Knights leader Wyald will be playable in Koei Tecmo and Omega Force’s upcoming Musou game.

Reading different comments about his integration in the upcoming game, fans seem to be split on his announcement and either love him or hate him. From the looks of it, more fans seem to have wanted Grunbeld instead, which some brief information on Grunbeld is detailed later on by the Weekly Famitsu.

Furthermore, the publication reveals screenshots of Wyald battling enemies and showing some of his moves. And speaking of moves, I don’t think he’ll be sporting a certain move that gets cut off, if you know what I’m talking about.

Anyways, we also see his true form or transformation in the screenshots below, which will obviously wreak havoc when players use him in that form.

Looking back to Grunbeld, the Weekly Famitsu confirms that he will be in the game. I don’t know if he will be playable or just an added character in the upcoming project, but however it goes, other characters like Adon Coborlwitz and Boscogn will also make an appearance, too, among “other characters”.

For more information on the above announcement you can head on over to famitsu.com. Berserk is set to come out on PS3, PS4 and PS Vita in Japan on October 27th, and for PS4, PS Vita and PC through Steam for the West.
