Forza Horizon 3 Goes Gold With Trailer For Halo’s Warthog

Playground Games and Microsoft announced that Forza Horizon 3 has officially gone gold for the Xbox One and PC. That means that development is done and finished and the final gold master disc is being shipped off to the printing press. The upcoming racer will include more than 350 vehicles ranging from sports utility transports to off-road rally cars and everything else in between… including the Warthog from Halo 5.

As pointed out by VG 24/7, the upcoming online racing game for PC and Xbox will feature the 2554 AMG Transport Dynamics M12S Warthog CST from Halo 5: Guardians. They mention that anyone who has played Halo 5 or Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be able to get their hands on the Warthog as a free bonus once they boot the game up after implementing the download code.

You can look for the code to start arriving in your Xbox Live message folder during the week of September 5th. And if you didn’t receive a code… well then, maybe it’s because you’re a millennial, maybe it’s because Microsoft just doesn’t like you, or maybe it’s because the cosmos is trying to tell you that you chose the wrong game console this generation.

Anyway, you can check out the Warthog from Halo in action below.

The vehicle looks pretty cool and it’ll be equally cool to actually race around in that massive thing within Forza Horizon 3. And despite the fact that Halo 5 sucked pretty bad as far as storytelling is concerned, I have to give it up to composer Kazuma Jinnouchi… he really knocked that soundtrack out of the park. I absolutely love what was done with it.

For those of you who pre-ordered the game, Microsoft is opening up early access to Forza Horizon 3. For everyone else, you can look to get your hands on Forza Horizon 3 for the Xbox One and PC starting September 27th at the end of the month.
