The big bad Zodd himself makes an appearance both in his human form and his beast-like Apostle form in the upcoming Berserk. Reflecting his lust for battle, bloodshed and a competent opponent, the new trailer shows the only Apostle who is capable of fighting Skull Knight in a 34 second long video. Berserk is set to come out in Japan on October 27th, and over in the West this Fall.

Getting this out of the way, I would love to see a dedicated trailer showing Skull Knight at his finest, now that would be pretty cool to see. Anyways, back on point. Koei Tecmo and Omega Force released a new trailer showing Zodd both in his human form and Apostle form wreaking Musou havoc on the field.

Speaking of wreaking havoc, I’m pretty sure in one of the screenshots shown of Berserk, there was a scene of a human losing a leg. I wonder if his super sonic speed while in his Apostle form will rip enemies to bits and pieces when flying past them? If not, I’m sure that’s nothing modders can’t do when the game drops for PC via Steam.

Furthermore, I’m not a big fan of the trailer, but if you are curious as to how he (Zodd) is revealed in the new trailer, you can watch the new video below. With that said, the trailer comes in by Koei Tecmo‘s channel.

As of course, other characters received the trailer spotlight treatment which consisted of Guts, Griffith, Judeau, Casca and Schierke. Most of all the previously shown trailers run around 30 to 40 seconds long, which is no exception for the above trailer.

Lastly, Berserk is set to come out over in Japan on October 27th, for PS3, PS4 and PS Vita. The West will gain an iteration of Berserk for PC via Steam, PS4 and PS Vita, which is set to drop sometime this Fall.
