Berserk’s New Screenshots Reveal Femto And Infinite Eclipse Mode

Koei Tecmo and Omega Force dropped some new screenshots for Berserk. Coming along with these screenshots is a list of information revealing other sides of Berserk and its different modes. The game is set to come out this October for Japan, and next year in February for the West.

Berserk and the Band of the Hawk will let you play as Femto, and will let you participate in game modes like Infinite Eclipse, among other modes and features. Laying it down nice and simple, Berserk will hold typical Musou features found in other KT and OF games.

First, lets start off with Femto. For those that don’t know this is Griffith’s re-incarnation as the God Hand and is now playable in the upcoming game. Players will be able to toggle his Femto form by using the “Transformation Action” while playing as Griffith.

If you are curious as to how he plays on the field, he fights by manipulating space and ripping/warping through it, either pulling foes in or pushing them away. In other words, he’s like a sorcerer in a Musou game when he transforms into Femto.

Looking over to other modes that will be in Berserk, the devs announced that there will be an endless wave mode that puts players in the defensive role fending off an onslaught of baddies.

The devs also explained that there will be different ways to strengthen your favorite character. As of course this is through finding rare gear, doing specific tasks and beating enemies around and about to get armor sets, and so on.

In addition to the above, there are three types of equipment: Accessories that enhance a character’s abilities, held items that support a character in battle, and Warhorses so that any character can reach point A and B faster. There is a feature called “materiel” that enhance Accessory’s performance and skills. There’s also a merging system for Accessories, which allows the player to further enhance other characters performance.

Behelits will be in the game. They are like Valuable Items in Dynasty Warriors and can be obtained by doing specific battle conditions. After assembling a picture by finding the Behelits you will be able to acquire and inspect an item from the Behelit.

With that said, Berserk is set to come out this October for Japan on the 27th, and next year on February 21st for the West. Berserk will be for PS3, PS4 and PS Vita for the former, and PC via Steam, PS4 and PS Vita for the latter. You can check out the latest screenshots for the game below.
