It seems as if for some strange reason Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare‘s Open Beta is gaining some traction, although I thought people supposedly hated this game? Anyways, if you aren’t like me and look forward to playing this iteration, Activision and Infinity Ward’s game will be open to players on PS4 and Xbox this October.
If this game breaks any record I think my blood pressure will boil over seeing how Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare is supposedly to be the worst, but I digress. Getting back on track, people who pre-ordered on PS4 can play the beta on October 14th at 10A.M. Pacific time, while Xbox One players will be able to join on October 21st. The Open Beta’s run will end for both consoles on October 24th at 10A.M. Pacific.
Those who are on PC, well, you won’t be able to participate at all. There will be no Open Beta runs, so that’s that. It reminds me of what EA and Respawn Entertainment did with Titanfall 2’s Open Beta tests, because you know PC players are always hacking games and it takes too much time to make things for different PC specs.
Moreover, information regarding the multiplayer Beta haven’t been shared yet by Activision just yet, so gamers who are looking forward to the Beta will most likely be informed in the coming weeks. I’m sure the Open Beta will consist of a handful of weapons along with a couple of stages to play on, although I could be wrong.
Those who are on PS4 and throw extra cash at the devs by pre-odering will gain extra time than those who are on Xbox One. Seeing how PS4 folks gain 10 extra days to mess around in the Open Beta seems weird to me, because it is just a demo to test servers and a few other minor things — but I guess paying for extended demos will be the norm soon.
Anyways, Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare is set to come out on November 4th for PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
