Deep Silver Will Publish Medieval Game Kingdom Come: Deliverance

Publisher Deep Silver will be helping developer Warhorse Studios publish the medieval first-person sword and shield game Kingdom Come: Deliverance. The game will release for Xbox One, PS4 and PC, with a digital and physical release set to drop along with the latter.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance seeks to bring “realistic” 15th century combat to modern day fans of medieval swordplay. Honestly, the game looks beautiful and like it will bring nice amounts of first-person fun, although I do hope there’s a third-person mode.

Moreover, Deep Silver recently announced that they will help publish Warhorse Studios’ open world action RPG. I should note that Warhorse Studios will still remain directly over the game as noted on the game’s Kickstarter page.

Those looking to get a better understanding on Kingdom Come: Deliverance, the full description detailing what players will be getting into when partaking in the single-player game sits below.

“Wenceslas’s enraged half-brother Sigismund imprisons Wenceslas and invades the country with his mighty army. Unfortunately, in the midst of this chaos, your character Henry suffers. The mercenary army destroys your home and kills your family, you are the sole survivor of the bloodbath and it is here that your road to redemption starts. Enjoy the detailed reconstruction of the 15th century landscape. Use weapons that were used by knights. Take part in epic historical battles that happened in Middle Europe and in castle sieges!”

Joining the above is a nice long look at what the devs accomplished so far with Deliverance, which is showcased in a 45 minute long video. You can check out the recorded livestream thanks to Warhorse Studios channel.

As of now the game doesn’t sport an official release date. But, while we wait for a given date for Kingdom Come: Deliverance, you can check out one more video that was recently published by Warhorse Studios — during Gamescom 2016.
