Lost Odyssey Free Download Now Available Until December 31st

Those who own an Xbox One will be able to participate in celebrating the Xbox One backward Compatibility catalog passing over 300 games by downloading a new yet old title. The team will grant Xbox fans Lost Odyssey as a special free gift for those who have Xbox Live Gold. The Xbox 360 role playing game is now free until December 31st.

This information comes from xbox.com and allows those who have Xbox Live Gold to download and play the game right now for free through Backward Compatibility, that is if RPGs are your thing. Over on the site the description reads for folks who are unaware and those who are that…

“Relive the journey of Kaim, a mysterious immortal warrior, as he embarks on an epic adventure of self-discovery. Now this epic RPG is yours to enjoy as our small way of saying thank you for being a fan of Xbox.”

The game was originally release back in 2008 for the Xbox 360, and was developed by Mistwalker. If you haven’t seen the game before, a trailer or the first segment of the game that really sparked my interest years back can be seen below, which to this day still looks pretty darn cool.

I really do like the OST to this game too, which Gun Barrel Battle is one of my favorites out of the many intriguing sounds in the OST — that is all due to Nobuo Uematsu.

Morever, the free digital copy of Lost Odyssey must be snagged by December 31st, 2016. After said date the game will not be applicable to download for free anymore, so it’s best to act soon if you want to play the RPG.

For more information regarding the game and the free digital download, you can head on over to xbox.com to read up on all of the information pertaining to the game. If you are curious and want to get the game you can hit up microsoft.com.
