Riders Of Icarus Ranger’s Fury Update Raises Level Cap To 50

Nexon and WeMade announced that Riders of Icarus has recently been updated with the new Ranger’s Fury expansion, featuring an all new Ranger class character to play along with new environments to explore and a new extension on the level cap.

Players who have already maxed out their player and are looking to further expand their dive into the realm of Riders of Icarus will find that they can do so by evolving their character(s) to level 50. This also opens up new possibilities for journeying through the Cloying Wastes, which features all new dangerous enemies and high-level monsters to face off against.

The consistently brilliant marketing team behind WeMade Entertainment’s Riders of Icarus also have a gameplay trailer up covering the new Ranger class and some of the environments you’ll venture to, which you can check out below.

It’s kind of sad that Black Desert Online didn’t get the kind of marketing treatment that Riders of Icarus received. Some snazzy, well made trailers for Pearl Abyss’ MMO could have done wonders for that game.

Anyway, the Ranger’s Fury update also introduces new mounts to capture. For those of you unfamiliar with Riders of Icarus you can battle, capture and ride just about any monster you face off against in the game, which is pretty cool. It’s a little like a grown-up version of Pokemon.

As for the Ranger class… they can be utilized in a multitude of different ways, including long range attacks, close range combat using a retractable bow (similar to the show Arrow) and they also have some magical abilities at their disposal.

The game also runs on the CryEngine, so you get some snazzy visual effects and the performance is passable enough on a decent rig on the high settings.
