Moto Racer 4 Set To Launch January 24th 2017 On Xbox One, PS4

Microids and Artefacts Studio released a new launch trailer for Moto Racer 4 to announce that the upcoming racing game is set to launch on January 24th, 2017.

The developers announced that gamers can expect to get their hands on the title for the Xbox One and PS4 at the end of January, next month, next year.

According to the press release the game will only be available as a digital download for $29.99. The PC version of the game launched last month on November 29th on the Steam store.

The hook for the game is that it returns to the roots of the series, giving gamers the option to race on both dirt tracks and road races. The launch trailer below features a snazzy look at the visuals and some of the tracks you’ll be racing on.

Unlike Ride or MotoGP, Moto Racer allows gamers to pull off stunts on the dirt tracks and to dodge cars and blaze through street races as well.

Moto Racer originally gained prominence for its arcade-like atmosphere that relied on speed, great frame-rates and gorgeous environments.

The game also features customization for both asphalt and dirt bikes, along with challenge modes, a career mode and multiplayer modes for both split-screen play locally or you can play with up to 10 people online.

The game currently has mixed ratings on Steam because some gamers feel as if the game is a quick cash grab based on what the original series introduced. There are complaints about bugs and glitches and that the maneuverability isn’t quite up to par to what it was with the original Moto Racer trilogy.

It’s sad to hear because I recently picked up the original Moto Racer games from GOG during a sale because I really loved the first two games a lot, and the second game allowed you to play split-screen on PC, which was a rarity back in the day.

Anyway, you can look for Moto Racer 4 to launch on PS4 and Xbox One starting January 24th, 2017 next year for $29.99 from their respective digital stores.
