Avorion passed through Steam Greenlight and is now looking to get on steam Early Access come January 23rd, 2017. The PC game sees players building up both their space career and ship to take on other players in large-scale co-op or single player battles.

We covered this game before, which if you haven’t heard about Avorion you can read the interview that Billy did with Konstantin. As of now, we learn that the game will launch for PC via Steam Early Access next year on January 23rd.

If you can’t wait that long two pieces of info regarding the game are now up thanks to the newly published Early Access page. The first piece of info is the summary for Avorion, which is up for you to read below.

“A procedural co-op space sandbox where players can build their own space ships out of dynamically scalable blocks. Fight epic space battles, explore, mine, trade, wage wars and build your own empire to save your galaxy from being torn apart by an unknown enemy.”

The second piece is the new Early Access trailer. The trailer reveals a newer build of the game that brings us much closer to how the devs envision their game compared to the now year old Greenlight trailer.

Entitled “Explore Build Fight Trade”, the trailer shows exactly that in which players can explore the vast amount of locations in space, build a plethora of ships from scratch, battle other players in massive space battles, and trade resources and goods by locating various asteroids and players.
