Brawlhalla 2017 World Tournament Series Puts $100,000 Up For Grabs

Blue Mammoth Games announced that a new Brawlhalla world championship tournament series is in the works with a series prize pool of over $100,000 featuring singles and tag-team championship play.

David Kisich, esports director at Blue Mammoth Games, explained that there’s a 32-player invitational for competitors to join up, earn points and compete their way toward the grand finals. Kisich mentioned in the press release…

“The Brawlhalla Circuit lets us join forces with our competitive community and players,” […] “Multiple Brawlhalla tournaments globally, both online and offline, will be part of the Brawlhalla Circuit. Competitors play in Brawlhalla Circuit events, earn points, and the top players from every region will earn invites to BCX 2017.”

They’re combining both the invitational format with the open-tournament play as well. The top three players from the Brawlhalla championship open tournament will go on to compete in the world championship tournament.

Those who compete in the regionals will earn points to go on and compete nationally, and then internationally for the world championship. The first three major tournaments of the season will get underway starting in February with the Winter Championship series in February, the CEO Dreamland in Orlando, Florida this upcoming April, and the Combo Breaker tournament in Chicago, Illinois this May.

They’ll have more info on the regional tournament point series for the invitationals soon. You can stay informed about the tournament series by visiting the official Brawlhalla website.
